Description We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Assistant Controller to oversee our company's financial and accounting activities. The role involves an extensive range of duties including managing fiscal reporting, supervising accounting staff, audit preparation, and managing budgets. The workplace is based in Corona Del Mar, California, in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all company accounting practices, which includes managing accounting departments, preparing budgets, and handling financial reports, tax, and audit functions.

• Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts.

• Supervise the investment and portfolio strategy.

• Manage relationships with insurance providers, auditors, and tax consultants.

• Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal controls.

• Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and accounting policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Coordinate with other departments in preparing financial analytics and forecasts.

• Communicate financial metrics and business drivers to the executive management.

• Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.

• Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, DCAA, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrated skills in ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with DCAA regulations and requirements

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Capable of managing all Accounting Functions efficiently

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven skills in Auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

• Proficient in managing Budget Processes and financial forecasting
