As leader of Minka, you will direct the brand on its growth journey. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping the future of Minka Group. From setting a clear and inspiring direction that fosters a collaborative and forward-thinking culture to ensuring growth and profitability within our showroom, digital, distribution and retail channels across the country, this role comes with high visibility from executive leadership. As the Minka Group leader, you will serve as an integral part of the broader Lighting Portfolio of Brands Leadership team while working with functional leadership to drive brand growth and profitability.

Position Details

  • Reports to Head of Lighting - Our Brands

  • Lighting Portfolio Leadership team

  • $200M+ in revenue, 200 associates

  • Position located in Corona, California (2 distribution warehouses (NC&CA) + Bradford admin office)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization with a focus on positivity and growth, setting a clear and inspiring direction that fosters a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.

  • Strategic thought leadership with relentless focus on profitable growth and market share gain.

  • P/L and working capital ownership for the total Minka Group Brand (intercompany and external) through all channels (digital, showroom, electrical distribution, retail).

  • Build and lead direct and indirect teams in highly cross-functional, matrixed organization setting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Scope including Sales, Marketing, Digital, Product Design and Development, Customer Service, Global Sourcing, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Technology, and others.

  • Create and implement 1-3 year strategic and operating plans to achieve higher market share, revenues, and margins that support the strategic and financial goals of the company.

  • Lead the overall Minka Group Brand go-to-market strategy including alignment with other Lighting Portfolio of Brands, and partner with other Channel Leaders across Home Brand opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain strong enterprise partner relationships across Ferguson Customer Group leadership, Category Management, and others.

  • Develop and lead successful teams: organizational design, performance management, alignment, recruiting, mentoring, training.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency of business operations in order to enhance customer experience operating leverage

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate or recommend updates to brand strategy as relevant.

  • Inform future acquisition or brand creation approach in alignment with company leadership.

  • Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements

  • Regular and reliable attendance

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Manager of managers with direct responsibility for at least 3 exempt associates.

  • Supports Enterprise business and sales objectives through the effective and efficient management of an operational geography or multiple headquarters sub-functions or departments within the Enterprise.

  • Establish budgets and execute accordingly to manage performance.

  • Approve expenditures and allocate resources as needed within budget.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Business Leadership experience in multi-channel environment is required to perform at expectation.

  • P/L ownership of a business unit or brand is strongly preferred. Robust cross functional experience

  • Progressive experience growing a Specialty Business Brand providing successful sales margin and growth enhancement

  • Experience in the Decorative Home Improvement/Building Products sector preferred.

  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and building relationships and expertise with the nation’s largest resellers, wholesalers, showrooms, General Contractors, Developers, Architects, Engineers, and Owners.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members at all levels.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement process improvements.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

  • Ability to implement change management and lead through change.

  • Deep understanding of customer expectations and the ability to drive customer-focused initiatives

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, marketing, engineering, finance or a related field.

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range:

$13,015.20 - $24,179.10

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
