Hometown Bank Loan Administrative Assistant in Corbin, Kentucky

Summary:  Prepares loan request papers then inputs and updates loan data into financial institution computer system; assembles and verifies loan documents for accuracy. Reviews loan papers to ensure completeness and compliance with regulations.Specific Job Functions:Provides administrative assistance to the Loan Officer and staff, including creating loan documents, updating loan data into the financial institution’s computers, and assembling of documentation for customer loans.Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data.Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation.Orders Title Opinion, Mortgage, Deed, Appraisals, and Flood Determination.Coordinates with Credit Analysis to prepare and send loans to Loan Operations to book.Prepare all Renewals and Loan Modifications, Letters of Credit and Accommodation Letters.  Prepare and mail Mortgage Payoff Letters, Business Letter, etc. for Loan Officers.Take calls and meet with loan customers to resolve any customer issues and/or concerns.Make Credit Files and Loan Shadow File.Make copies as needed.Attend Loan Committee MeetingsAny other duties as requested or assigned by the Loan Officer or Senior Management.High School Diploma or equivalent.A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in an office environment preferably with a background in loan operations.Successful completion of in-house training program or approved outside training programGood understanding of financial institution products and services, as well as knowledge of laws legal regulations regarding lending services.
