Dick's Sporting Goods Software Engineer (SE-NV) in CORAOPOLIS, Pennsylvania
Collaborate and develop with product team members (UX, engineering, and product management) to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions for our Athletes and Teammates. Ensure the solutions delivered improve the overall economics of the organization while considering the long-term costs associated with solutions implemented. Document, review, and ensure that all quality and change control standards are met. Write custom code and scripts to automate test cases, monitor services, and other areas of automation. Work with vendors and partners for the successful implementation of critical tooling and platforms. Create meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure that issues are captured and addressed proactively. Participate in review board sessions and contribute to innovation ideas to drive consistency and growth across the enterprise. Utilize skills and knowledge in writing SQL queries against relational database JDBC/ODBC, SQL and NOSQL; agile development and knowledge of related tools (Git/Pivotal Tracker/Jira). Telecommuting permitted.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, and 4 years of related experience.
