Summary:

Lead Agile Training and Coaching efforts. Provide support and mentorship over Portfolio Operating Model including portfolio level value-driven governance. Provides leadership in the evaluation of strategic objectives, formulation of strategic direction, and influences / supports decision making based on assessment of business trends and data analytics. Leads ongoing discussions with peer partners in other internal work groups on identified priorities supported with clear fact-based recommendations. Participates in cross-functional meetings and provides insight / guidance to peers / Managers / Directors in partner teams. Collaborate with areas across the enterprise to discuss changes impacted by strategic recommendations. Develops strategic frameworks and manages processes to build business scenarios. Provides a point of view on key strategic issues across major dimensions of the business – governance, portfolio operations, technology etc.

Job responsibilities, skills/abilities:

  • Experience with Demand Management, Portfolio Management, Portfolio Governance functions and cross-Portfolio dependency management at large digital companies

  • Experience training and coaching others in Agile roles

  • Experience leading large-scale Agile transformation efforts

  • Strong technical understanding to determine value, prioritization and/or critical problem-solving skills

  • Proven experience in program management within a technical environment, ideally in areas such as eCommerce, software development, data science, cloud computing, etc.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to influence and build strong relationship across the organization

  • Strong communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and openly communicate status, issues/risks, and challenges presented to project, as well as ability to create clear and concise presentations

  • Solid understanding of learning and development principles, specifically applied in a technical context.

  • Experience with work management tools and agile taxonomy and nomenclature

  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross functionally to resolve issues and generate results among potentially conflicting parties

  • Ability to effectively operate within a fast pace, dynamic, complex and matrix organization

Minimum qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with six (6) years related work experience.

  • Or a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative business field or closely related technical specialized field of study with eight (8) years related work experience.

  • Work experience in functions focused on Lean Portfolio Management, Portfolio Governance, technology program management, strategy development, support of corporate development / strategic value assessment activities, or related functions.

  • Experience with Agile training, coaching, and Agile transformation activities

  • Demonstrated business acumen and experience of supporting strategic assessments that are transformational in nature. Strong communication and presentation skills, problem structuring & problem solving skills. Strong human relations skills. An advanced degree may offset experience requirements.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: Annual Salary $116,000-$145,000

Domicile Information:

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
