The Coral Springs Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) is a free-standing ASC with Endoscopy suites. A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy Department at Cleveland Clinic's ASC in Coral Springs, FL, provides care to intra-procedural patients, following established standards, department guidelines and hospital policies and procedures. The RN will use their strong assessment and critical thinking skills to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide the best outcomes for each patient. This role plays an integral part in ensuring patient advocacy and safety.

The hours of this per diem position are 10-hour shifts, 7am-5:30pm. A minimum of 48 hours per six-week schedule is required. No call or weekend requirements.

Required qualifications for the ideal candidate include:

• A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR OF RN EXPERIENCE IN AN ENDOSCOPY DEPARTMENT IS REQUIRED.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).

• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

• Provides care with empathy and compassion.

Physical Requirements:

*Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

*Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

*Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
