Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate Jiu Jitsu Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques, excellent instructional skills, and the ability to create a positive and motivating training atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct Classes: Lead Jiu Jitsu classes for members of varying skill levels and ages, ensuring effective and engaging instruction.

  • Skill Development: Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students, assisting them in refining their techniques and advancing their skill levels.

  • Curriculum Development: Independently develop curriculum content, ensuring a progressive and well-rounded learning experience.

  • Safety and Well-being: Prioritize the safety and well-being of students by promoting good sportsmanship and monitoring the training environment.

  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest developments in Jiu Jitsu and attend relevant workshops or seminars to continually enhance personal skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Black Belt Certification: Hold a black belt rank in Jiu Jitsu from a recognized and reputable organization.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive training environment.

  • CPR/First Aid Certification: Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).

Availability:

  • Sessions occur on weekend morning and afternoon, as well as Weekday afternoons and evenings.

Compensation:

  • $35.00 per session starting rate.
