The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami seeks applicants for two tenure-track or tenure-eligible faculty appointments in the field of materials chemistry, broadly defined. One appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, the other position is open rank; both appointments would begin August 15, 2025. The ideal candidate will be able to integrate their research activities with those of existing faculty in the Department of Chemistry and in other interdisciplinary research programs, including the Frost Institute for Chemistry and Molecular Sciences at the University of Miami. Applicants who can contribute to the College’s work in quantum science are especially encouraged to apply. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in chemistry by the beginning of the appointment and significant postdoctoral experience.
