Under operational direction, provides administrative support to the Director of Student Account Services. Provides a high level of quality customer service to all students, parents and external departments. Maintain relationships with vendors and expedites payments to same. Reports directly to Associate Director, Student Account Services – Customer Service.
Learn the PeopleSoft Student Financials Module
Provide students with financial information to assist them with their financial registration
Provide assistance and resolution to customer disputes
Must apply professional judgment responsibly when judgment deviates from established policies and procedures
Be a team player and work with all OSAS staff members to ensure efficiency in all areas of the operation
Provide customer service via telephone, e-mail and walk-in traffic
Manage the process of reproducing IRS Form 1098-T for students and parents upon request
Other projects as assigned
Recruit, hire, train and supervise student employees
Manage daily office functions including ordering supplies, processing AP, Workday, check requisitions & purchase orders
Submit payments for University PO Boxes and postage meter in Check Distribution
Coordinate procurement activities with vendors and maintenance needs with facilities & telecommunications
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management or a related field.
One (1) year experience in a financial and customer service related position
• Must possess critical thinking skills, exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills
