As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates should excel at all levels of analysis and enjoy working with outside vendors and business partners. What you get to do every single day

• Prepare expense accruals based on revenue and ensure they meet contractual obligations

• Calculate and classify entries on Income Statement while reconciling related Assets and Liabilities on the Balance Sheet, etc.

• Analyze reporting for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contract requirements and apply related cash receipts.

• Analyze and reconcile accounting activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

• Interface with clients and colleagues on revenue forecasts and monthly/quarterly closing

• Assist with contract audit programs

• Monitor and make recommendations to improve business processes

  Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Excellent communication and social skills is a MUST

• Excellent organizational and time management skills required

• Advanced Excel skills required

• Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

• Experience with sales analysis and reporting

• Experience working with contracts is a big plus

• Experience with revenue accounting or lease accounting is desired but not required
