Stiles Machinery Regional Director -- South Central in Coppell, Texas
Description
The South-Central Regional Director is responsible for the strategic leadership of the assigned region by establishing, developing, implementing, and successfully executing short and long-terms goals, plans and policies to meet or exceed organizational objectives to advance the company’s mission. The Regional Director will be responsible for all regional functions including but not limited to, regional budgets, profit & loss management, facility management, and employee management (10 direct and 50 in-direct) as well as other duties. The position will direct all operational activity within the region, including, but not limited to sales and customer support services, staffing requirements, etc., ensuring the success of each, while working within corporate guidelines with the appropriate national resources to ensure overall success.
Essential Functions
Working closely with the President and the Executive Committee, initiate and develop strategic plans and programs for the assigned region to align objectives with corporate goals and mission to ensure profitability, efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
Improve overall profitability by driving strategically planed and implemented processes and policies within the region through intentional collaboration with direct reports, national sales, national service, product groups, and other department heads.
Evaluate, report, and advise on impact of current and future plans and programs, including the introduction of new strategies and portfolios to enhance resources, revenues, and profitability for the Company.
Propose, participate in strategic financial discussions concerning, and manage quarterly and annual budgets, financial report analysis, gross profit, and net contribution for assigned region.
Maintain an awareness of the competitive landscape within the United States and report any market conditions that may improve or threaten the Company’s position in the market.
Actively participate and maintain relationships with Industry Organizations and strategic suppliers to promote the products and services offered by the Company.
Ensure solutions presented by sales team and product groups meet customer’s objectives and meet or exceed customer’s perception of value required.
Serve as a strategic partner in the business by assisting with the continued development of existing customers as well as the development of new customers, new business opportunities and strategic partnerships which will enable the Company to grow both revenue and margin.
Work closely with direct reports to resolve customer issues related, but not limited to, machinery sales, service, accounting, etc.
Ensure regional facilities represent the Stiles Machinery brand well.
Utilize regional facilities to drive customer engagement with the Company.
Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive executive leadership
Strong strategic development
Strong business and financial acumen
Capital Equipment Sales / Service experience preferred
Experience with SAP & Salesforce preferred
Skills and Abilities

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
