Wolters Kluwer Lead Product Software Engineer | Cloud Native | Azure | .Net | Design in Coppell, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • You will guide the appropriate use and implementation of technology to provide high quality solutions that delight our customers

  • You will play an important role as a hands-on, technical leader defining the framework, technology, processes / best practices for cloud native applications

  • You will lead an Agile team of .Net developers, UX/UI developers, database developers, QA engineers / analysts, and business analysts to deliver the development of our award-winning cloud native, predictive intelligence application

  • You will guide the development and delivery of maintainable and highly scalable multi-tier PaaS applications with web-based on the Microsoft technology stack (VS 201X /. NET 4.X / C# / JavaScript / SQL). Work in Agile teams following Agile + SAFe methodologies to deliver high quality products on time with performance and localization requirements in mind

  • You will design, build, test and deliver high quality, complex frameworks and systems and diagnose and resolve complex issues

  • You will develop applications using Cloud Native technologies (SaaS, PaaS)

  • You will create creative approaches and solutions to complex issues

  • You will coach, support and mentor less-experienced staff in their career development and provide them daily guidance and direction

  • You will influence peers and technical staff within the team and collaborate with internal customers and work teams across departments

  • You will select and implement development tools and coordinate technical standards within a development team

  • You will understand the use of technology and how its implementation affects strategic business goals

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

  • 8+ years of programming experience with Web technologies

  • 3+ years of leading complex and challenging projects, architectural design, providing technical guidance and leadership, conducting design and code review

  • Proficient in object-oriented design and development using software development best practices

  • Experience using Azure

  • Deep understanding of design principals and patterns

Preferred:

  • .net Core, or .net 6, C#

  • Angular or other front-end technologies

  • 1 or more of the following: Azure Resources, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, App Services, Cloud ,Native, Cosmos DB, Azure Table Storage

  • Design patterns such as Singleton or other design patterns

  • 5+ years’ experience ASP.Net Web API or ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript, JSON and REST

  • 5+ years’ experience developing customer facing applications

  • 3+ year experience developing Single Page Applications using Angular, React, or similar technologies.

  • 1+ year experience with Document-based NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cosmos DB

  • Recent experience as a Lead
