Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer for one of our clients who is in food and beverage industry with a focus on health and nutrition. They have hundreds of stores through the US. The role will be hybrid out of Dallas TX -about 10 minutes from the DFW airport. The hours of this role would be between 8:30/9 5:30/6. *This role most likely will exceed a 40hr week and must be okay with that.

As a Data Engineer, you be joining small team of 3 individuals. In this role you will be designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes and business intelligence solutions utilizing Microsoft BI technologies - such as Stack, SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, as well as PowerBI in cloud. The day to day of this individual is majority break- fix work as well as focusing on enterprise reporting and integration of third-party systems. This individual would ideally be ready to hit the ground running and require little training. In this role, you would be able to help automate processes, troubleshoot, and identify root causes.

Additional responsibilities will include:

- Implement CI/CD best practices to streamline the development and deployment of data solutions in both on-premises and cloud environments

- Maintain Extract, Transform, Load processes

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in data engineering

o Particularly with Microsoft BI stack

o SSIS, SSAS, SSRS - experience integrating with API's

o SQL database

- Bachelors degree in computer science or related Experience with

- Microsoft Fabric

- Azure null
