Your Role

As a Distribution Cost Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing actual distribution costs and providing accurate forecasts to the business.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as the Logistics Manager and business controllers.

  • Performing month-end closing and Dynamic Forecast submissions. Lead yearly budget preparations.

  • Leading and participating in distribution tender projects and initiatives, questioning and improving current ways of working.

What Makes You Successful

In order to succeed in this role, we expect you to showcase the following:

  • A university degree in a relevant field.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in supply chain, operations or similar.

  • Advanced skills in Excel and SAP.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus but not mandatory.

  • An easy-going, open-minded, and hardworking attitude.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a curiosity to question and improve current processes.

Additionally, you will need to manage for results, taking accountability for delivering on commitments, prioritizing activities, and focusing on issues that have a critical impact on business results. The ability to make tough decisions and see them through is crucial. Furthermore, you should be able to collaborate internally, working effectively with others to achieve shared objectives. Representing your team while being considerate of others' perspectives and crediting them for their contributions and accomplishments is key to your success.
