1st shift 7a-3:30p, 2nd shift 3p-11:30p, 3rd shift 11p-7:30a Starting pay \$13.00/hr\ Technical Skills/Experience ? High school diploma or equivalent ? Ability to read and write using the English language Physical Requirements: ? Work overtime as required by your manager ? Maintain regular and predictable attendance ? Sit, stand, bend, push, pull, reach, kneel, stoop, and lift continuously ? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs ? Work in an environment with many different sounds and sound levels ? Work with or around solvents, chemicals, irritants, and or potential allergens ? Work in a fast-paced, self-directed work environment with minimal supervision ? Potentially work in close proximities of others\ Position Summary The Operator position is a non-exempt member of the production department who reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. This position is an entry level position responsible for successfully retrieving, working (runner removal, trim, buff, etc. when necessary), inspecting, and packing products per applicable customer specifications listed in work instructions. Essential Duties/Responsibilities ? Follow all Encompass Manufacturing policies for safety, quality, and productivity ? This position has completed Paulson Training, scoring a minimum of 70% accuracy ? Retrieve applicable supplies (pens, markers, knife, cutters, etc.) needed from your locker prior to clocking in ? Attend applicable pre-shift meetings on-time and participate as required ? Log into the MATTEC (using your clock number) system at the applicable press you are operating ? Review the applicable work instructions (this is required every day even you operate the machine/product frequently - things change all the time) ? Do not operate a machine/product if there is no work instruction available ? Review applicable quality alerts and sign the back of them (no matter how many times you operate the applicable machine/product) ? Ask (Shift Supervisor and or Floor Support) for additional training if you are uncomfortable operating the machine/product ? Complete the actions per the work instructions for applicable product ? Enter applicable scrap into MATTEC as it occurs (to ensure 100% real-time accuracy of scrap percentages) ? Follow the STOP, CALL, WAIT process as required ? Place the printed label on finished totes, boxes, and pallets ? Place a pallet label on each finished pallet, signaling the Material Handler to move it ? Contact Floor Support, Material Handler, Quality Inspector, Molding Tech, and or Shift Supervisor as required ? Label with an NCR Tag and rework any product at the press that is identified as non-conforming product (the press will get shutdown to do so) ? Check to make sure material wands are properly placed in the material Gaylord at least four times a shift ? Breaks begin the moment you leave the machine and end the moment you return (do not abuse break timeframes) ? Maintain a clean and organized work cell throughout the shift ? Complete any additional tasks requested by your Shift Supervisor (regardless if it falls under this job title)\ Medical, dental, vision, life insurance eligibility on the 1st of the month following 60 days employment.
