The Role
The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the management of compliance requirements for the following government agencies – SEC, BOC, BOI, PEZA, CDC, BIR, LGU. This role will have oversight of submissions to different government agencies, and will make sure all requirements, reportorial or otherwise, are submitted in a timely manner.
Implement compliance processes and documentary requirements, including deadlines.
Evaluate efficiency of existing controls and maintain continuous improvement of processes not only within the Finance team but to all departments whose processes feed into the compliance deliverables.
Oversee all PEZA/BOI/BOC/CDC/LGU-related processes, and ensure all compliance documents follow the rules and regulations
Maintain strong relationships with partners and other departments (Facilities, Payroll, IT, HR and Operations) for validation and compliance for PEZA/BOI/BOC/CDC/LGU.
Ensure compliance with SEC regulation and reportorial requirements
Collaborate with the Accounting team for any audit requirements as needed to track submissions to BIR
Be in charge of safekeeping of legal and registration related documents and ensure completeness.
Prepare reports for senior management as appropriate.
Ensure reportorial requirements will be prepared and submitted on time.
Collaborate across the organization to perform assigned duties.
Communicate regulatory and statutory updates from time to time within the team and its related stakeholders.
Will liaise with government agencies for business development and compliance transactions; and
Such other compliance requirements may be required from time to time.

1-2 years experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Have strong technical skills with the ability to operate Word, Excel and Access as well as be trained on other systems that are used for data management and processing
Professional Compliance qualification would be an advantage
An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
