As a Workers' Compensation Insurance Specialist, you will focus on overseeing and managing complex, litigated claims, particularly in workers' compensation, while also supporting general liability and auto insurance cases. You will serve as the key point of contact for location-based claims, facilitating the flow of information to the service office for handling and support. This role involves close collaboration with insurance companies, legal teams, and management to ensure efficient claim resolutions and positive outcomes.

salary: $35 - $36 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Review, monitor, and manage large, litigated workers' compensation claims.

• Address claims reported by individual retail locations, coordinating with the service office for support and processing.

• Support general liability and auto insurance claims as needed.

• Handle Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests and updates.

• Resolve issues with insurance companies, ensuring timely and effective communication and follow-up.

• Troubleshoot and address workers' compensation process issues to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Manage return-to-work cases, working with affected employees and managers to facilitate timely and safe transitions.

• Work closely with the legal team to assess claims and determine optimal resolutions.

• Provide detailed claim information and documentation to legal partners to support case analysis and outcomes.
