Labor Connections LLC HVAC Service Tech (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Service Technician) in Conover, North Carolina
We are seeking a HVAC Service Technicians with 2-8 years of experience in the light commercial or industrial HVAC industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both costumers and team members. This is a physically demanding role that requires travel to customer sitesboth indoors and outdoorsto repair, troubleshoot, and maintain residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to safely repair, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and correct malfunctions on equipment, with a strong focus on refrigerant troubleshooting.
- Submit detailed field service reports to provide technical feedback on equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch to ensure excellent customer service.
- Promote sales and service on customer equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Adapt to changes in wok schedules and tasks as need.
- Repetitive lifting, standing, stopping, walking, crawling, and reaching above the head for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- 2-8 years of experience in the light commercial or industrial HVAC industry.
- HVAC manufacturer-specific training or college education preferred.
- Experience with commercial HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with peers.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed. Start times vary between 6:30-7:30AM, working 8-10 hour shifts.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Must wear appropriate safety gear, including a hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, steel-toed work boots, and long pants.
