JOB TITLE: Animal Scientist (Multiple Openings) JOB LOCATION: 593 Warehouse Lane, Connell, Washington 99326 JOB DUTIES: Responsible for developing, evaluating, and managing animal health and welfare within cattle feedyard operation. Specific duties include: (1) implementing and developing animal health programs to maximize herd health, including monitoring animals for signs of illness and disease; (2) providing medical treatment to sick animals; (3) administering vaccinations, antibiotics, and medications according to veterinary protocols; (4) evaluating necropsy of animals to determine cause of death; (5) moving cattle in a safe and proper manner pursuant to established company wellbeing policies, guidelines, and standards. REQUIREMENTS: Two years of livestock industry experience, including specific experience in animal health. Frequent travel required to various company worksites in Franklin County. Housing benefit available. ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $50,378 - $71,359. Competitive benefit package offered for employees (and qualified dependents) working 30+ hours per week includes medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, 401k, PTO accrual up to 15 days per year, seven (7) paid holidays annually.
