•Key account manager for a one of the TOP 5 accounts for the company.oOwns the strategy development and deployment to ensure profitable organic business growth with our client.oNetworks within client leadership of those groups to provide access to decision makers and clarity of client objectives, drive alignment between universal personnel, management, and the client’s teams.oIdentifies, qualifies and actively engages all potential leads, to measurably expand the business partnership within the client organization.oAchieves new internal business sales growth objectives, specified in different departments of our existing client.oGains alignment of account strategy and project opportunities with Universal leadership, justifying new opportunities, and developing business opportunity analysis as well as justification material.oWorks with the Universal team to ensure development of commercially viable solutions.oPromotes and positions Universal solution value to our client’s internal teams.oMonitors and regularly communicates executive status of programs within both the client and Universal teams.oCommunicates strategy with, and coordinates engagement of, all Universal sales and field resources assigned to our client’s contract manufacturers.•Develops territory strategy to increase sales pipeline, business volume, and Universal market share.•Identifies and develops new accounts, develops and executes penetration strategies for defined target accounts, expands Universal's position and supports existing accounts within the assigned territory.•Manages and develops assigned sales channel partners via attention to the partners’ account activity, technical support and assists with sales closure. •Diagnoses customer needs and works with Product Divisions to develop solutions that demonstrate and enable Universal's capability to meet those needs. •Prepares customer proposals, quotes, presentations, and reports.•Arranges and accompanies customers and channel partners on visits to Universal and existing customer facilities to demonstrate Universal equipment and systems.•Works with Product Divisions and Customer Order Center to ensure contract review process is completed, clearly defining customer equipment and delivery requirements and Universal's commitments to the customer.•Works with Product Training, Field Engineering and Product Divisions to schedule customer training, equipment acceptances, installation services, and after sales technical support requirements. •Monitors customer satisfaction levels and resolves issues with the appropriate Universal personnel and thorough use of the corporate corrective action process.•Gathers and reports industry, market and competitive data to the Product Divisions and Area Operations GM in their reporting region.•This job requires domestic travel to visit customers at least 50% of time.Requirement:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration plus three (3) years of experience in manufacturing automation sales operations:•Design, installation, maintenance and efficient use of hardware, software, applications engineering, and maintenance processes and operations as they relate to the high-volume manufacturers in Mexico. •Experience in support of the United States’ efforts in automotive (including Electric Vehicle), biomedical and high-performance computing.•Surface Mount, Through hole, Precision & Odd Form assembly, Advanced Packaging, Software, including strengths and weaknesses from a technical (concept, development, material readiness, production, deployment, quality and operational related activity) as well as a business standpoint.•In-depth knowledge of live product deployment, quality and conflict resolution (legal and otherwise), factory and domestic operations.•Product development, competitive stance and competitive intelligence, as well as knowledge of end customer vision and planning that help drive sales development, smooth planning, and thoughtful execution of projects.•Set a strategic sales and business development plan for target markets and ensure it's in line with the BU strategic direction.•Experience in executing the sales and business plan, including defining market trend, product application, target market and penetration plan from company’s overall business perspective. •Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders, e.g. product department, partnered channel, engineering team and support team.•Carry the off-shore electronics manufacturing and its practice (effectively design the manufacturing operations, bring high-volume manufacturing to fruition, ensured high quality electronics manufacturing) back to the USA pursuant to the US Government and the Chips and Science Act.** Telecommuting permitted.
