The Role:

The Director, Data Product Operations will lead a fast-growing team at MMIT, driving next-generation market access solutions with a focus on data product commercialization using Norstella's data assets. This role is accountable for high-quality development, delivery, and continuous growth of the commercial product portfolio, drawing on deep expertise across the product life cycle. The Director, Data Product Operations will steer product strategy, collaborate across teams, and evolve the technology and offerings in a fast-paced environment, ensuring strategic positioning, customer satisfaction, and market leadership.

Qualifications:

  • This is a role for someone who is passionate about unlocking business value with data and advanced analytics through partnership with technology and engineering

  • Experience in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or related disciplines

  • Expertise in Market Access and Medical Coverage data/use case is a must have.

  • Experience in utilizing Real World Data/Evidence is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • The Director will lead and mentor a growing team of product managers and product owners. This role will be accountable for high quality development, delivery and maintenance of the commercial product portfolio

  • The Life Science Data Products Commercial team draws upon deep expertise in oncology product commercialization including product strategy, market access, and go to market models with a deep understanding of the use of real-world data across these functions

  • Has performed product commercialization and can execute all stages of the product life cycle

  • The leader of this team will be accountable for not only the development, launch and go to market support for the commercial products but also the ongoing delivery, customer experience and organic product growth

  • Director will be responsible for ensuring product quality (eg, accuracy) and timeliness, data and analytics quality as well as product roadmap planning, adoption and success tracking

  • The person will also be responsible for building relationships across key internal and external business stakeholders and will assume responsibility for measuring and reporting key operational metrics to leaders across the organization

  • This role requires an individual that can blend deep technical ability and leadership with a strong sense of communication and collaboration

  • This is an influential data-centric business role within a growth area with broad scope to shape our data product offerings and user experience

  • This role will assist in production planning/technological enablement for day-to-day support activities

  • Lead collaboration across cross-functional teams including the data products foundations team to ensure available technology and data assets are being maximized to ensure quality customer deliverables

  • On time delivery is expected. All resources are expected to be responsible for defining roadmap timelines.

  • Support internal stakeholders as product leader to understand their product needs and provide guidance on how to best ensure those needs are met.

  • Support sales as commercial product portfolio subject matter expert providing necessary go to market content and training as well as customer sales engagement as needed to drive product growth

  • Work collaborative with functional business teams like sales, sales operations, finance, marketing, technology and end users to identify key areas for improved efficiencies and customer experience

  • Maintain deep understanding of the evolving market and competitive landscape for our commercial product portfolio to ensure strategic positioning and continuous improvement

  • Set the priorities and deliverables for teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products and to ensure that product managers are maximizing customer experience and product adoption.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $185,000 to $200,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
