The State of New Hampshire, Department of Corrections, Office of the Commissioner has a full-time vacancy for a Chief Legal Officer (Attorney IV) located in Concord, NH.
Summary: Functions as general counsel and administers and coordinates all legal activities for the Department of Corrections (DOC). Works under the general direction and supervision of the Commissioner of Corrections and in cooperation with the Assistant Commissioner and other offices, bureaus, and divisions of the Department. Represents the Department at legal and policy meetings. May be called upon to represent the Department at rulemaking hearings and legislative meetings as determined by the Commissioner.
