The State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, Bureau of Bridge Maintenance has a full-time vacancy for an Asset Engineer (Civil Engineer IV).
SUMMARY:
To perform professional engineering supervision of the Bureau of Bridge Maintenances asset management program, to include development, tracking and reporting. Coordinates with internal and external groups relative to the asset management goals of the Department.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS
: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Masters degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in an engineering.
Experience:
Four years of post-baccalaureate experience in engineering.
OR
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in an engineering.
Experience:
Six (6) years of post-baccalaureate experience in engineering.
OR
Education:
Associate's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in an engineering or engineering technology.
Experience:
Six (6) years of experience in engineering at a level equivalent to Civil Engineer I (or higher), plus two (2) additional years of experience in a position comparable to an Engineering Technician.
License/Certification:
1.
Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New Hampshire or a Licensed Professional Engineer in another state and obtain licensure in NH within one year of employment. Licensure designation must be in Civil, Civil Highway, Geo Technical or Structural Engineering.
2.
Must possess a valid driver's license and/or have access to transportation for statewide travel.
3.
The applicant's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet the minimum standards as established by the hiring agency.
