Job Title: Operations Manager for Commercial Window Cleaning Construction

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team specializing in commercial window cleaning construction for high-rise, multifamily, and large commercial buildings. Our company handles turnkey projects including design, installation, and inspection. This role involves managing ongoing projects, leading the team, and ensuring project success from initiation to closure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Project Coordinators and field personnel.

  • Write up Project Coordinators and field personnel with Branch Manager approval.

  • Enforce communication with clients on all projects and uphold a 24-hour response policy.

  • Ensure company-set timeframes are met.

  • Maintain a teamwork-oriented environment for smooth project transitions.

  • Work with Project Coordinators to ensure deliverables are within scope and budget.

  • Oversee the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects.

  • Ensure projects are on schedule and within scope.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project success.

  • Delegate project tasks based on staff responsibilities.

  • Track project performance to ensure goals are met.

  • Assist with scheduling Field Technicians on jobs.

  • Review and approve branch purchase orders.

  • Assist with weekly job forecasting for all projects.

  • Track and maintain project reports as required.

  • Review and approve change orders and delegate as needed.

  • Track and maintain Hot Sheets, confirming completion.

  • Ensure deliverable items are quality checked before installation.

  • Travel to job sites or offsite coordination meetings as needed.

  • Meet with the Branch Manager monthly to discuss processes, procedures, personnel KPIs, and company success.

  • Hold weekly Field Tech Safety Tailgate Meetings.

  • Ensure branch success by hitting target revenue.

  • Conduct final job walks with key personnel to confirm project completion and customer satisfaction.

  • Respond to client and personnel inquiries promptly.

Essential Skills

  • 3 years of experience in construction operations management, project management, or military management.

  • Experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager.

  • Strong project planning skills including scheduling and budgeting.

  • Ability to create strategies to mitigate cost overruns.

  • Resource management skills in labor, materials, and equipment allocation.

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on goal achievement and quality control.

  • Proficiency in risk management and health & safety regulations.

  • Critical problem-solving abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, general labor, and use of hand tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00
