About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager to join the Small Business Digital team within SDI. This individual will help drive the evolution and implementation of key digital capabilities that will transform the small business digital experience for our Small Business Lending products. In this role you will collaborate with our Product Management leaders & line of business (LOB) partners to lead scrum teams to deliver the best digital customer experience for our Small Business customers. This individual must be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, who thrives as an independent contributor, yet is able to leverage leadership acumen to build credibility and direct matrixed resources in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team responsible for building and executing on the strategy to increase client digital engagement and satisfaction in support of Small Business priority to digitize our lending business. This includes partnering with numerous small business stakeholders, CSBB technology, and WF enterprise partners to enable small business customers to digitally apply for various lending products

  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning

  • Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area

  • Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements

  • Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Partner with other Product Managers and the project team to refine the business requirements and assist in building and prioritizing the product backlog.

  • Manage, refine, and prioritize the scrum's backlog

  • Develop acceptance criteria for user stories based on the product requirements to ensure successful delivery

  • Be responsible for building and executing on a strategy to further help our clients with their needs through our digital origination channel, as well as partnering with marketing and the bank branch network on growth and acquisition strategies

  • Assist the Team of Teams Product Manager in breaking down the product strategy and strategic roadmap into quarterly and sprint level goals and priorities

  • Collaborate with all levels of professionals, including peers, Scrum Team, and the Leadership team to influence the product vision and priorities

  • Be accountable for understanding and mitigating associated risks for digital client experience ensuring thorough documentation of controls and procedures

  • Act as a liaison between the stakeholders and the delivery team during planning, execution, and ongoing operations to optimize capabilities, maximize customer value, and align expectations

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Agile experience

  • 1+ year of small business digital or financial industry experience

  • Knowledge of business/consumer lending products

  • Knowledge and understanding of API/ Micro Services programming

  • Knowledge and understanding of business requirements gathering and translation to technical requirements

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or JIRA

  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas

  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic objectives

Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

  • This position is a hybrid work model, must be willing to work out of Concord, CA or Charlotte, NC approximately 3 days a week

Pay Range:

  • Charlotte, NC: $96,600 - $171,800

  • Concord, CA: $115,900 - $206,100

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
