Electrical Technician - Electro-Mechanical Technician - Industrial Electrician :

• Conduct modifications and repairs of various electrical systems in LRV ( light rail vehicles, small passenger trains / locomotives ) along with the installation of new electrical and electronic systems.

• Electrical installation : The installation of new systems including electrical cabling installation, system component fitting and system testing

• Electrical repairs : The rewiring of railcars including the installation of conduit, the running and crimping of cables at terminal boxes. Full testing of reinstalled electrical circuits using the standard electrical test tools including, meggers, multi-meters and hi-pot testers, etc

• Electrical faults finding : The troubleshooting of electrical defects using the standard electrical test tools

  Qualifications :

• Must have previous experience in such roles as: electrician, journeyman electrician, industrial electrician, electrical technician, field service technician, electro-mechanical technician, avionics technician, electronics technician, test technician, engineering technician, etc

• Must be OK with working in heavy industrial / manufacturing environment : crane movement, forklift traffic, occasional work at heights, hot works and metal fabrication, work in pits and under cars on jack stands

• Position requires a criminal background check ( last 7 years ) and drug testing ( no medical marijuana exceptions )
