Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description

Responsible for machine start-ups and PLC programming of those machines. You will have a wide variety of responsibilities including controls systems, process systems, and vision systems. You will be part of projects from concept to deployment. Training will be provided to familiarize you with specialized equipment unless you have prior experience in the refrigeration industry. You will work closely with another Controls Engineer and support all project phases, including design and quoting. This role involves customer interaction, both on-site and throughout the project's duration, and for future assistance.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Comstock Park, Michigan.

Work Environment

Average office space where everyone has their own office. The space is clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable. You will spend 10% of your time in the shop, 25% on the road, and the rest in the office. Expect 25% travel throughout the year, typically a week at a time from Monday to Friday. All travel expenses are covered, and special compensation is provided for flying. You will work four 10-hour days with Fridays off, except when traveling. The company offers 3 weeks of PTO, which includes sick time.
