BUNZL Territory Sales Manager (John Tillman) in Compton, California

John Tillman is looking for a motivated Territory Manager, creative, organized, and exudes passion in their presentations, that can move customers to make purchasing decisions on our products. The Territory Sales Manager will be based in Ohio and travel throughout the east coast.

Responsibilities:

  • Continue to develop current business with Fastenal while focusing on end-users in the East coast:

  • Introduce new products and programs to the Safety Specialist and National Account Managers.

  • Train and educate safety specialists, salespeople on Tillman product line.

  • Attend Fastenal Expos and Safety meetings.

  • Call on any house accounts to help develop relationships.

  • Travel 2 weeks per month visiting accounts.

  • Submit weekly call reports and expenses via email.

  • Position reports to Director of Sales

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in business or marketing.

  • 2-3 years sales experience. Retail merchandising experience a plus.

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office with working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • High energy- willing to work beyond the normal 8-5.

  • Team player- no job is too small attitude.

  • Discipline- self-motivation, work with minimal supervision.

  • Passion- willing to embrace products, industry and company culture.

  • Ability to travel overnight for one week at a time.
