[Service Technician

Details]{.underline}:

• Hours 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with overtime as necessary. Estimated 200--400 hrs. overtime available yearly.
• Pay Range $17.65- $23.00 per hour depending on experience.

[Job Duties:]{.underline}

• Ability to work with multiple departments in pressure situations.
• Safely connect Electrical, Air, Steam, and/or Gas utilities to machines.
• Fully test/troubleshoot/adjust all machine functions while following mandatory safety procedures.
• Be aware of machine appearance and quality control.
• Understand and process UL paperwork.
• Build crates, clean and disassemble machines for shipping.
• Secure machines to crates and load onto trucks.
• Customer service and replacement parts sales. Including, but not limited to the following:
  • Receive phone calls from customers and help them troubleshoot equipment.
• Sell parts to customers over the phone and via email and enter those parts sales into the Macola ERP system.
• Travel as required to provide on-site installation and service and training plant personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

[Skills Required:]{.underline}

• Electrical background and mechanical aptitude including the ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and use a multi-meter.
• Computer literacy including the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and the Macola ERP software.
• Basic math skills.
• Safely operate forklift.
• Knowledge of basic shipping terminology.
• Properly lift up to 50 lbs.
