Parts and Service Technician

[PRIMARY DUTIES]{.underline}

[Provide customer support for parts and technical service,]{.underline}

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, e-mails, and video conferencing.
  • Generate quotes, sales orders for replacement parts via Macola ERP system.
  • Support equipment sales activities with a technical knowledge base.
  • Travel as required to provide start up service and training.
  • Troubleshooting through coordination with customer facilities and field installations.
  • Interdepartmental coordination under time sensitive situations.
  • Research customer parts needs for legacy equipment.
  • Organize and prioritize workload and populate customer files and technical logs.
  • Analyze unit operational and warranty performance data and record in customer files.
  • Address warranty situations, and issue and process return material authorizations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

[REQUIREMENTS:]{.underline}

  • Technical service experience.
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Understanding of program logic controllers, human machine interfaces, computer networking.
  • Positive attitude, ability to work independently and on a team with good communication skills.
  • Lead/drive process improvements.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel.

  • Hours 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with overtime as necessary.
  • Pay Range $17.65- $23.00 per hour depending on experience.
