Job Description: The Workday Finance Delivery Associate is a member of Crowe's Information Technology (IT) Workday Product team and is responsible for the delivery of functionality and business solutions using the Workday ERP SaaS cloud platform for internal business stakeholders. In this role you will perform the following regular activities: Develop into a Subject Matter Expert for business processes and Workday functional areas supporting the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Be involved at all stages of solution delivery from ideation through production support. Serve as both a consultant and deliverer of solutions by seeking to understand client request, assessing actual client need, providing subjective matter expertise, proposing alternatives, recommended solution(s), and implementation of solutions. Working in a fast-paced SCRUM Agile based team that requires tasks to be completely quickly and with high quality. Completes assigned tasks in prescribed timelines consistent with deliverables and asks for support and direction as appropriate. Frequently discusses, can articulate, and advocates for best practices along with rationalized solution scopes with the business in a professional and experiential manner. Participates in or may lead internal business initiatives to assist the organization in building Standard Operating Procedures, policies, standards, and best practices for our Workday operation. Participates in the Workday customer forums to develop one's own knowledge and advocate for Workday product enhancements that benefit Crowe. Individuals in this role are expected to: Effectively communicate and be articulate with their thoughts and words. Work within a team of peers all focused on the delivery of Workday Financials functionality. Develop positive relationships with their peers, management, and clients. Follow internal standards and utilize prescribed methodologies successfully while remaining agile and flexible to client changing needs. Lead discovery sessions to gather requirements and document user stories used to define the Workday configuration. Analyze, define, configure, and document complex business requirements and processes. Lead configuration and business process walk through with the client. Test Workday solutions to ensure that all requirements meet the client needs. Build Workday technical artifacts such as business processes, calculated fields, business logic, EIBs, reports and other configurations. Position Requirements: At least 1-year previous experience with Workday in a Functional role performing hands-on configuration and report development. Alternatively, at least 2-years previous experience with hands-on development/configuration in SaaS ERP system such as PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP, Oracle E-Business, Ultipro, NetSuite, or preferably Workday. Experience documenting user stores and requirements artifacts based on business requirements discovery. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to evaluate and manipulate data. Ability to travel up to 20%.
