JPMorgan Chase Web Solutions Architect in Columbus, Ohio
As a Web Solutions Architect you will be responsible to provide strategic web scale technology solutions for web facing products used by our customers and create target state design for various software applications & technology platforms, which have direct impact on customers, clients and businesses around the globe. Leveraging expert understanding of technology drivers for the line of business, you'll ensure that strategic technology decisions are made in the best interest of the entire firm.
The candidate should have experience architecting & designing large scale platforms in a financial institution, working with geographically diverse cross-functional teams, have a proven track record of strong communication & people skills, as well as have experience working in a structured & agile software development lifecycle. Experience working with a sizeable technology organization with complex programs preferably in banking / finance institutions.
The candidate must have broad and deep technology skills across a range of technologies. You would be accountable for cost effective end-to-end technical solutions and the primary design authority for the solution, working in partnership with the product owners and project management teams.

Define current state and target state architecture for the strategic applications, optimizing the business value, delivering best-in-class solutions
Create the solution architecture that provides the blueprint for the development teams based on the business concept, goals & objectives and high-level requirements
Build new and innovative solutions that can help solve business and technical challenges
Engagement with senior stakeholders across all technology lines of business, ensuring adherence to the division's plans and expected outputs, while fostering an environment of collaboration and shared success
Develop the rolling multi-year roadmap and maintain aligned to our business client and technology strategy and priorities
Build deep & trusted relationships with the Application Development teams, their business partners and our counterparties in other LOBs
Proactive adoption of innovative technologies that enable rapid delivery
Provide best practices are utilized in delivering Reporting/Analytics, Data Management and Integration Solutions
Ensure architecture design decisions can be actioned by the development team
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related engineering field
10+ years of software & system design experience
Good working knowledge in the following areas: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, GraphQL, Kafka, Microservices(REST, gRPC), Oracle, Cassandra, Agile development methods, CI/CD.
Experience in developing solutions with 3rd-party solutions, both internally and externally hosted applications
Experience building internet scale web services/API platforms from the ground up
Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, Enterprise design patterns, industry best practices
Technical depth and ability to rapidly understand and communicate the impact of solutions and technology
Experience collaborating with business representatives to understand requirements, value, prioritization and business intelligence needs
Strong communication skills are required in this role and ability to present/review ideas and architectures in front of peers as well as to Senior Management.
Ability to work independently as a self-starter and within a team. Comfortable in a dynamic environment with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
