American Chemical Society Technology Analyst Asset Management in Columbus, Ohio
Description Job Duties Establish relationships with internal customers, including Purchasing, Finance and Legal. Work with application owners to provide current state of software applications with proposed recommendations for upgrades or upcoming changes. Assist with vendor compliance audits. Maintain records in asset management system of agreements, open/in-process requests, license counts, and other pertinent lifecycle vendor data. Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers by providing timely and accurate information in response to inquiries and training internal staff. Coordinate and schedule device refreshes to ensure timely return of old device. Reclaim equipment and ensure asset records are updated as staff separate. Complete asset disposal with BIOS removal. Assist with standard projects for physical hardware inventory audits, including the planning, coordination, and review findings of missing or unknown assets, and update Asset Management system with results. College degree (relevant field) or equivalent experience; 2 years of related experience; an advanced degree may be substituted for work experience. Proficiency with critical thinking skills. Understanding of software license terminology Experience with Asset Management solutions highly desired Demonstrated knowledge with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Experience with one or more of the following is highly desired but not required: PeopleSoft, Basware, Contract and Vendor Management software is highly desired.
