Confidential Special Education Teacher in Columbus, Ohio

FLEX HIGH SCHOOL OF OHIO

Full Time, Monday -- Friday

Compensation: Competitive compensation package starting from $46,000 per year.

How You Will Make an Impact

The Special Education Teacher instructs and assesses assigned students with disabilities in a personalized instructional environment, working with students and/or parents to determine and evaluate the students' academic plan. This position will collaborate with school administration and faculty to support student retention and academic success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Ohio Educator License Intervention Specialist Mild/Moderate K-12th grade required
  • Prior Experience working with children (with SLD, ED, MR, Autism, & other special needs) strongly recommended
  • Teaching experience preferred; experience in a diverse setting preferred
  • Proficient in student information systems
  • Intermediate or Advanced, or Expert skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
