JPMorgan Chase & Co. JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. DUTIES: Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation. Apply technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity. Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Services Engineer, or related occupation. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: developing software utilizing Spring, Spring Boot and maven to resolve application dependencies; performing data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow and query optimization using programming languages including SQL for Oracle DB as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB; developing and deploying REST APIs using Spring, SpringBoot and JavaScript to handle data exchange in JSON and XML format; containerizing applications using Docker to streamline deployment processes and ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments; collaborating with cross- functional teams in an Agile SDLC environment to deliver features in iterative sprints, ensuring high-quality deliverables; utilizing tools like Selenium to test and verify web applications' functionality, and performance across different browsers and devices; writing comprehensive unit tests to verify the correctness and quality of individual components within an application and increase the code coverage of the tests; and collaborating with other teams to perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure the application features meet end-user requirements and functions as expected.
