Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Social Media Specialist in Columbus, Ohio. This role will engage in the creation of dynamic and engaging social media content, with a specific focus on motion graphics, GIFs, and animated posts. The selected individual will collaborate with the team and utilize a variety of software tools to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create engaging social media content, including GIFs, motion graphics, and animated posts, to enhance our online presence.

• Utilize Adobe After Effects and Photoshop to generate dynamic visual content for various social media platforms.

• Develop small advertisements and mobile-friendly graphics with a focus on content creation.

• Maintain an organized workflow by building and managing matrices in Excel, inserting images, and organizing content as necessary.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all social media content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

• Use your skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Editorial Content, and Facebook Insights to create content that drives brand awareness.

• Use your knowledge of Social Media Advertising and Social Media Content to create posts that engage our audience across all social media channels.

• Use your skills in Motion Graphic and Animation to create captivating content for our YouTube channel.

• Utilize your skills in Graphic Design to create aesthetically pleasing and impactful content. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Social Media Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe After Effects.

• Experience in creating and managing social media content and advertisements.

• Comprehensive understanding of social media channels, including Facebook, YouTube, and corporate social media platforms.

• Ability to analyze social media data and derive actionable insights using tools such as Facebook Insights and other analytics platforms.

• Proven track record in building brand awareness through social media.

• Expertise in creating engaging social media graphics and understanding of graphic design principles.

• Familiarity with freelance graphics and motion graphics.

• Experience in content creation for social media platforms.

• Knowledge of social media advertising strategies and platforms.

• Proficiency in animation and the ability to create engaging animated content for social media.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
