Battelle Memorial Institute Senior Solution Marketing Manager (Medical Device) REMOTE US in Columbus, Ohio

The Senior Product/Solution Marketing Manager will support the business as the voice of the product, solution or service to the market. The incumbent will be an integral part of the team working across the organization, and will drive awareness and market visibility; conduct and analyze market research; and develop market growth strategies. Will be accountable for being the “voice” of the market to the product, solution or service. Position may be located Remote within US .


  • Drive product awareness and market visibility through transformational marketing.

  • Produce creative, engaging content including investor pitch decks.

  • Responsible for the strategy for new product/solution launches.

  • Develop and implement projects to strengthen sales funnel.

  • Conduct and analyze market research to guide strategic development, support product positioning and messaging to the funnel.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of marketing and product/solution marketing disciplines necessary for building business and marketing plans. Utilize market trends, user needs insights, and competitive positioning to develop messaging for preferred product, solution or service offerings for targeted segments and channels.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and logical decision. Understand and demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to business cases, forecasting, product/service strategy, and assessing strategic options.

  • Will establish, track and report metrics for effectiveness.

  • Create and lead product, solution and service training for sales, business development and customer support.

  • Ensure the business line’s pricing is competitive in the market.

  • Will influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, sales, enterprise marcom, business development, finance, quality, regulatory, legal, and others.


  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; six years of experience within product management; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience.

  • Strong communication skills, demonstrated ability to work across organizations with multiple divisions.

  • Must be US Person.


  • Experience marketing tangible and non-tangible products and solutions.
