Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Requisition ID 2024-48568 Category Information Technology Overview The Senior QA Analysts are responsible for all aspects of QA for the Web Development team. They develop and apply testing processes for new and existing applications. This includes reviewing requirements to create test strategies and plans when necessary. They will also plan and execute regression tests when deemed necessary. This includes documentation of all testing activities completed and bugs found for future fixes and enhancements. QA is also involved in application development design and estimation sessions to be certain testing activities are accounted for in project sizing. As the QA functions continue to mature, automation of test scripts and test plans will be identified and implemented. This includes both automated UI testing, as well as, integration testing (API). Responsibilities Quality Analysis and Support Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Provides troubleshooting, problem analysis, debugging, and resolution of assigned system issues. Provides effective user training and support. Assures data integrity and system survivability by assisting with Disaster Recovery plans, back up procedures, business continuity/high availability, testing DR plans and system restores and maintaining current data in DR databases and tools. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Design, develop and execute scripts using automation tools. Monitor debugging process results. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Information Assurance Knowledgeable of and adheres to Children's Hospital policies, processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines governing privacy, security, and disaster recovery/business continuity. Develops, implements, tests and/or maintains systems following IS Information Assurance policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines and industry standards to address security, privacy, and disaster recovery/business continuity needs to protect Child
