Job Title - Department Reconcilement Supervisor - Bank Operations Location This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely). Market Upper Ohio Valley Work Hours per Week 37.5 Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management or Finance preferred. Minimum of five years of banking experience including bank operations experience required. Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or leadership role required Job Description SUMMARY: Responsible for the management and oversight of the reconcilement area including application, GL, internal DDA, cash, and correspondent reconcilements. Manages the development, design, and implementation of processes and procedures around all aspects of reconcilements. Drives efficiency and effectiveness in daily processing by collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing automation. CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Willingness to provide a level of service which will clearly differentiate us from our competitors. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively to meet critical deadlines under difficult time restraints. Understanding of deposit accounts and associated processing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs, manages, and leads a staff including hiring, scheduling, preparing performance evaluations and making salary recommendations. Provides training and guidance to staff with respect to understanding, processing and managing the workload. Designs, implements, and monitors processes and procedures related to all reconcilement activities. Collaborates with stakeholders and advocate for scalability and automation. Ensures effective use of applications and identifies process improvement opportunities. Works with team to maintain process flow documentation for assigned systems and area of responsibility. Measures key performance indicators and manage metric reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Oversees daily reconcilement of all application balancing accounts, GL, internal DDA and correspondent accounts. Ensures outstanding items are cleared timely with the assistance of the business area. Oversees branch cash ordering and reconcilement for all vaults and ensure accounts are in balance and branches are supplied with cash flow. Monitors all outstanding reconcilement items for 30, 60, and 90 aging. Clears all outstanding items in a timely manner with the assistance of the business area processing entries to the accounts. Maintains SOX control documentation and controls around all reconcilement processes. Manages to defined customer service level expectations. Other duties may be assigned.
