We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Senior Project Manager (IT) in Columbus, Ohio (hybird). As part of our team, you will manage multiple IT projects with interdependencies in a dynamic environment. You will be expected to excel in communication, organization, leadership, and project management. You will work closely with IT Application teams and Business functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our customers.

We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for managing multiple projects with interdependencies in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. The successful candidate will excel at communication, organization, leadership, and project management, and carry a positive attitude with the initiative to 'Get Stuff Done' while maintaining high quality. We require a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in managing projects in a technology organization, and familiarity with Waterfall / Agile methodologies is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with IT Application and Business functional teams to manage resources and activities effectively, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within the budget.

• Identify project deliverables, project scope and risks; manage resources and activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget, always aiming to delight our customers.

• Effectively influence between the Business Owners, Project Managers, and Operations Teams to support delivery, risk mitigation, change management, and issue resolution.

• Manage deliverable estimation process, resource allocation, project budgets, and detailed project schedules or ADO boards, depending on the project methodology (Waterfall or Agile).

• Schedule recurring internal and customer-facing meetings as needed during project implementation to review and monitor project goals and status.

  Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.

• Ability to understand people and technologies with the capability to ask the right questions to guide problem-solving.

• Ability to assess and deliver an appropriate level of detail and comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization.

• Experience working both independently and in a cross-functional team-oriented environment is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working at a Financial Services Company.

• Experience working on an infrastructure project.

• Scrum Master experience would be advantageous.

Technical Skills:

• Must have strong proficiency in managing projects in a technology organization, and familiarity with Waterfall / Agile methodologies.

• Adept at managing project deliverables, resources, schedules, budgets, risks and issues effectively.

• Nice to have; Previous experience working at a Financial Services Company, experience working on an infrastructure project, and Scrum Master experience.
