In this role, you will lead the effort to define and shape security for VMware Cloud.

You will have ownership and autonomy to think strategically and make decision driving significant impact to the business. You will lead building functionality that spans multiple product lines and handles different types of stakeholder and developer needs. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with our engineering, SRE and architecture teams to deliver secure systems.

  • Improve code security in our software development lifecycle (Git/Concourse/Artifactory)

  • Improve efficiency of our SIEM processes and systems (Syslog/Cloud Trail/Splunk)

  • Improve implementation of SDDC security technologies (Firewall/VPN/IPS/WAF)

Key qualifications and requirements:

  • 5+ years as a product manager building and launching technical products, preferably in Cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and/or security

  • Domain experience with security aspects of public cloud environments

  • Strategic and critical thinker who can translate ambiguous user problems into market applicable, tangible solutions.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred skills:
