GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership to the operations team focusing on employee development, retention, and discipline.

  • Provide high level account management with a focus on building relationships with key customers.

  • Maintain profitability of all accounts.

  • Coordinate new account start-ups ensuring a successful contract transition.

  • Develop best practices to provide quality service and cost efficiencies.

  • Oversee quality control on all accounts.

  • Work with sales to obtain new business.

  • Work with recruiting to staff jobs.

  • Help with hiring and training of new employees.

  • Position may require travel and overnight stay as needed.

  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures. Other tasks or duties as assigned by the VP of Operations.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 8+ years of experience in Commercial Cleaning.

  • 4+ years of experience in operations management.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong commitment to high-level service and quality standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead teams.

  • Willingness to work a variable schedule to include day, evening, and night shifts.

  • Willingness to travel. Valid Driver's License.

LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates within multiple work environments including office, manufacturing, schools, medical facilities, etc. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The ability to lift files, stand, bend, stoop, and walk is required. Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor, and phone. Requires ability to communicate verbally with others. This position requires individuals to be able to drive up to 90 minutes one-way. When offsite, this role requires extensive walking indoors and some outdoors.
