Employee Compute - New Product Development, leads the entire Apple Mac product life cycle through planning, execution, and futures development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.
As a Product Director in Employee Compute, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Job responsibilities
Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
Collaborates with experience design, engineering, business leads and external vendors to ensure alignment towards product goals, timeline and deliverables
Manages relationships with Apple and other third-party vendors, working with sourcing to negotiate contracts and service agreements
Asks questions and defines the problem and where our platform sits in the Chase ecosystem.
Understands the technologies and approaches in use and those we should be using to drive our objectives for these technical products
Gathers and analyzes customer feedback, and usage data to continually improve the product and enhance user experience
Partners with security and risk management teams to review and audit Apple Mac products, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement measures to safeguard sensitive financial data on Apple devices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
In-depth understanding of Apple Mac OS hardware and software ecosystems including integration with enterprise solutions
A customer obsessed leader with the ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer needs into clear technical requirements
Proven leader to implement changes through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment. Strong partnership, consulting, and influence skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to identify emerging trends in technology and apply them to create competitive advantage within the finance sector
Demonstrated team leadership skills with the ability to drive and influence cross-functional work through others, mentor team members, and lead teams to achieve results on complex and ambiguous projects
Proficiency in translating data outputs to stakeholders of automation and orchestration platforms for the execution and delivery of data-driven insights

Recognized thought leader within a related field
Expertise in developing cost-efficient solutions and creating and analyzing financial performance metrics
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of root cause analysis and problem detection
Comprehensive technical knowledge of the relevant industry, coupled with the ability to provide specialized technical training to the team on specific products
