SOC LLC Materials Handler II - Columbus, OH Quality in Columbus, Ohio
Materials Handler I needed for a 6 month contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities * Performs routine unloading, sorting and packing of incoming parts/materials (mail, supplies, etc.). * Prepares products for shipping and performs shipping of products to clients. * Kits, stages, and delivers parts to the manufacturing/production floor as directed. * Performs routine inventory cycle counts and inventory counts. * Cherry picks parts for production fulfillment on pick lists. * Receives & Put-away incoming parts and returns from the production floor. * Assists with warehouse organization and sanitization. * Collaborates with Material Handlers, Quality Assurance, and Planning Teams in the warehouse. Qualifications * US Citizen * GED/HS Diploma * 1-3 years of warehouse experience * Valid Driver's license * Ability to follow business processes * Can follow warehouse safety protocols * Detail-oriented * Good oral and written communication skills Employment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, and drug urinalysis.
