PRIME AE Group, Inc. This will be a 3-4-month internship with the potential for an extension. It is a great time to come onboard with us! Position Overview: The primary focus of this role will be to provide support for the integration of IT systems at a newly acquired firm. This is a hands-on role where you will assist in planning, deploying network equipment, and setting up laptops, as well as collaborating with project managers and coordinating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and excited about contributing to critical IT projects. Potential for follow-on work based on performance and project needs. Primary Responsibilities: Computer Imaging & Deployment: Prepare, configure, and image laptops for deployment. Ensure systems meet company standards and are ready for use by end-users. Network Equipment Setup: Assist in deploying and configuring network equipment such as routers, switches, and wireless access points. Troubleshoot hardware or connectivity issues as needed. Project Support: Work closely with the Project Manager to develop deployment plans and timelines. Track progress and provide updates to the project team. Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with stakeholders at the acquired site to ensure a smooth rollout of equipment and services. Address concerns, questions, escalating issues when necessary. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and project milestones. Create user guides and basic IT documentation for the new staff. Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a college program, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Familiarity with computer imaging tools and IT hardware. Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, VLANs, etc.). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Self-starter with a proactive attitude and attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office 365 preferred. Hands-on experience with imaging software (e.g., MDT, SCCM, or similar) preferred. Basic knowledge of IT asset management preferred.
