Huntington National Bank Insurance Sales Enablement and Communications Director in Columbus, Ohio

Summary:

The Insurance Sales Enablement Director is responsible for driving the design, planning, implementation, execution, and reporting on the effectiveness of the Insurance sales model and the integration of OCR (Optimal Customer Relationships) processes with bank partners. The Director will establish and implement training and development approaches and accountabilities to ensure utilization of the sales process to include new colleague onboarding processes for all Insurance colleagues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drives the design, planning, implementation, and execution of a consistent sales culture across Huntington Insurance through a defined sales process and model, and a disciplined approach to training and coaching.

  • Collaborates directly with sales and service leadership, as well as other sales enablement partners across the bank.

  • Guides senior leaders in understanding the Huntington Insurance sales strategy, including the required beliefs and behaviors to execute effectively. This includes training on the sales process and model, as well as coaching support for: pre-call plans, relationship plans, and partnership plans with the ultimate intent on helping drive insurance revenue growth.

  • Leads a small team to builds the Huntington Insurance communication plan for both internal and external audiences.

  • Executes internal communications and builds presentations for large internal and external audiences.

  • Partners with marketing to execute campaigns and build sales materials.

  • Packages research into more digestible insights content that is easy to integrate into sales materials.

  • Develop a communication strategy to keep cross functional stakeholders up to date on our latest data, market trends and competitive trends.

  • Establishes the voice of Huntington Insurance and

  • Advocates for sales best practices (including OCR) through utilization of available tools and resources to ensure revenue achievement and business objectives attainment for the organization.

  • Responsible for maximizing utilization of the established Insurance Playbook and OCR process development across Regional Banking, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. This includes translation of Enterprise OCR Strategy into executable results to build a best-in-class sales process, team, tools and execution strategy enabling the organization to achieve its business growth objectives in the most predictable and effective way possible.

  • Creates and implements a consistent new colleague onboarding process to ensure early adoption and effective utilization of the Insurance Playbook and sales strategy.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Sales training and enablement experience in banking or insurance.

  • Experience building integrated sales processes across team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience

  • Communications experience
