Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.

The Human Resources Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator (HR CQI Coordinator) is responsible for HR related NYAP policy, contract, and state/county compliance; auditing HR files and ensuring compliance; standard operating procedure identification and documenting; key performance indicator reporting and analysis; and internal communications and training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The HR CQI Coordinator for La Jornada position may include the following, as well as other duties assigned:
Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.
Understand the human resources related NYAP polices, funding contract requirements, and HR requirements specific to states/counties.
Audit HR personnel files regularly and ensure all HR personnel files are in compliance with NYAP policies, funding contract requirements, and state/county requirements.
Identify and document effected human resources standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to personnel onboarding, ongoing employment and termination. SOPs include areas such as ensuring HR requirements are met upon initial employment, recertifications or renewals of items such as education, training, licenses, insurance, vaccinations, etc. are updated as required, and termination closeouts are accomplished.
Communicate and train staff on HR standard operating procedures. Ensure new staff responsible for SOP duties are promptly trained.
Gather data, compile reports, and analyze data regarding human resources quality assurance performance and key performance indicators.
Attend staff training and other program sponsored activities.
Performs other duties as requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience identifying standard operating procedures and key performance indicators and experience writing related technical procedure manuals, training staff, and auditing.
Excellent customer service and communication skills focused on caring for people, connecting communities and promoting peace.
Works well independently and as a team member.
Openness to travel as required.
Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.
