Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Bonus: $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Position Purpose:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at Mount Carmel Home Care, you will provide paraprofessional services to home care clients as developed by the primary nurse and prescribed by the physician. Your role is essential in ensuring compliance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act and other regulations defining home health aide services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a federally compliant training program as required by law/regulation and successful completion of a competency evaluation program.

  • Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in the State of Ohio.

  • Documentation of one year’s employment as an aide in an institutional or home care setting.

  • Meets Mount Carmel Home Care's hiring criteria, including the provision of professional references.

  • Ability to function in a practice environment with minimal direct supervision, maintaining a professional relationship with the agency’s clients and their families.

  • Commitment to maintaining skills and adhering to the agency's policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.

  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from work sites.

  • High School diploma or GED required.
