Xponential Fitness Fitness Sales Manager in Columbus, Ohio

Club Pilates Polaris is currently seeking a high energy, passion filled and sales motivated individual that is fitness minded and has a love for community and our brand! POSITION: The ideal Sales Manager will oversee sales and actively manage membership sales and support the owner on sales related efforts inside and outside the studio. The Sales Manager will be in charge of generating leads, converting them and retaining them as members, plus booking them into class. The Sales Manager will be required to meet planned goals, oversee the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing training of sales associates. When in studio, the Sales Manager will support the Studio Owner oversee operations. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree is preferred * Membership Sales experience is required (studio presale experience a plus) * Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner * Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail * Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, social, on the telephone and via email * Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment * An affinity and passion for fitness * Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Demonstrate going above and beyond to accomplish goals * Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information * Ability to direct, lead, coach, and develop sales staff * Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public * Proficiency with computers and studio software (training will be provided) - (ClubReady a plus) * Ability to work weekends * Professional, punctual, reliable and neat *This is a full-time position. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability. DUTIES: * Lead generation including grassroots marketing and networking during pre-sale and ongoing * Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts * Regularly conduct training sessions with the sales associates to discuss strategies for assisted sales and ongoing improvement * Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions * Support owner with marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio * Assist owner as required with sales and event efforts * Manage up to owner with daily reports and check-ins * Book and confirm leads and members into classes * Manage the front desk to greet and check-in clients and prospects when they enter the studio as required * Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants * Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club * Ensure studio is clean and tidy * Present available services to current or prospective members * Collect out-standing dues * Assist owner with studio operations * Any other duties as assigned COMPENSATION & PERKS: * This position offers a very competitive base rate plus commisions and bonus if all goals are met * Complimentary Fitness Membership while employed * Employee Retail Discounts We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
