JPMorgan Chase Financial Analysis - Senior Associate - Home Lending Marketing in Columbus, Ohio

The Home Lending (HL) Marketing Finance team acts as a trusted advisor to the HL Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Managers by assessing the performance of marketing campaigns, monitoring the annual marketing budget, developing strategy, and assisting in the operational decisions of the organization. The team actively identifies and recommends process enhancements and assists management in analyzing and communicating business strategy and results. Our Financial Analysis team provides strategic financial analysis along with forecasting, budgeting, timely reporting, and development of new reporting capabilities.

As a Financial Analysis Associate in the HL Marketing Finance team, you will provide real-time insights to Marketing leadership on campaign-level solicitations, applications, funded units, and returns on marketing investments. The team is responsible for constructing the annual budget with production assumptions down to the program and originations channel level. Further, the team serves as the liaison between Marketing leadership and originations channel executives to communicate the strategy and cost of the marketing plan. The team will also engage with Decision Sciences to assess performance of the campaigns in terms of amount and value of incremental business activity. The team is responsible for translating detailed understanding of key business drivers into easily consumed, actionable, fact-based analysis intended for non-Finance audiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive business results by engaging business partners, analyzing financial results and business drivers

  • Communicate with senior executives through both oral and written presentations.

  • Owning the responsibility of the home lending business case submission process

  • Track and assess performance of marketing campaigns within the home lending business

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline

  • Passionate problem solver and creative, critical, independent thinker with exceptional analytical skills

  • Strong presentation skills (written and oral)

  • Strong technical data skills; proven track record of partnering with data scientists/owners to deliver analytical insights

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time, influence others and interact across organizational units

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of executing against deliverables

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
